I had already tried to remove the haze, oxidation, and factory "coating" from my lenses, using  Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish.  The results were satisfying, but not totally satisfactory.  The edges of the "coating" were visible (see photo), and no amount of rubbing was going to remove the edges.  The overall appearance was much better, though.   That was in January 2004.

I met Tom Mosier through my WebSite.  He told me of his product, and offered to let me test it on my Cobra.  I used his product on December 19th, 2004.  Overall, it took me about 20 - 25 minutes to do each lens.   The results were amazing ... all of the "lines" from the edges of the lens coating   were gone!  See the following photo that shows how noticeable the "lines" were.

My headlight lenses now look brand new, and it didn't cost me a cent   LOL.  As his customer, I'm afraid you'll have to pay a modest price to get the same look that I now have.  It will be some of the best coins spent getting your Cobra (or other vehicles) looking new again.

Process:  sandpaper is used to remove the hazing and factory coating.  The next step

is the application of the oxidation removal paste.   Two applications were used on my lenses.

The final step is the application of the UV protectant, and buffing.

(There are enough chemical products in this kit to do several vehicles ... a person could recover

all or part of his initial investment by doing the lenses for other owners.  Something to think about)

You can read about other owner's experiences using a variety of products to clean their lenses on one of my other Web Pages.

This photo was taken after using another product.   It cleaned the lens just fine, but left the edge lines

of the factory protective coating.

The following photos were taken after using Tom's restoration kit.  The sun produced quite a glare,

so what may appear to be hazy is actually the sunray reflections.

I plan on taking additional photos and posting them to this Web Page.  It may take a while, because

of Christmas, but I will get them done - the lenses really do look much better than depicted in these photos.
