Transportation
I bought this around Jun 1, '09 ... It's a '02 Triumph Bonneville, 790cc.
Trying to get back into the
workforce, I couldn't locate a decent used Mustang, and then this little bug got into
my ear ... next thing I know, I have an ecomonical means of transportation!

This is a custom seat that came with the Bonneville ... it's a
"Corbin Smuggler."
I also have the original seat, in like new condition.
Well, I've come to the conclusion that, as much as I like the
Bonneville, it's just not practical to depend on it for a ride to work.
The day will come that when I wake up, it'll be raining cats & dogs! I've done a
lot of riding in the rain, in several countries
and states, many years ago - but I'm not prepared to do it again. It's too much of a
dangerous proposition here in
San Antonio, with the intellect of the drivers! So ... with no income, the
Bonneville is for sale on "craigslist."
28 Aug 09: I sold the Bonneville today, sadly.
I sold the Triumph fabric-style saddlebags, and the Corbin "Smuggler" solo seat, to different individuals.
